Hip Hop Education Class Element of a Emcee Class
My students learning how to Rhyme on a Beat, One of the importance as a Hip Hop Educator is to teach from the root of its foundation. Today lesson was the word “Fly” and “Silence” which they had to create rhyming words and make a Rap song. This is a lesson that was taught to me by the Legendary KRS 1 which is why KRS 1, Jay Electronica and J.Dilla was the topic of the day. The rest of my students was scare to get on camera which its ok, however I’m glad that the new generation of Hip Hoppers are starting off young and getting the proper education. My 6 Emcee’s are students from Camp Curtin & Marshall School in Harrisburg Pennsylvania (Harrisburg School District).
